Start-ups often put off investing in a modern CRM system. But here you can find out why a CRM solution is particularly interesting for them and what added value the Salesforce Sales Cloud offers start-ups.

Initial situation & objectives
Our customer Alivion, a spin-off from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), was involved in CRM at an early stage. The production and sale of portable methanol detectors, which are used in various industries, requires good planning. It was important for Alivion to systematically record the exchange with customers and distribution of the individual detectors in a central location from the outset. Enquiries, quotations and potential sales opportunities should also be processed and documented in a structured manner.
With ‘Salesforce Essentials’, Salesforce offers a CRM solution specifically for small companies. With the basic CRM functions, the customer can record and manage leads, contacts and company data. The setup also includes a customised sales process for an overview of all leads and sales opportunities.
